i don't mind usfw, but i don't typically write it unless we're really friendly ooc. fade to black is totally fine too. as long as everybody's comfortable and communicative and nothing is forced, we're good. i'll tag generically with 'usfw' or 'suggestive' but if you need a more specific tag, let me know.please don't pursue a ship with me if i'm just being added to a roster, or you're just chasing the fc or the muse. i've had sooooo many past issues with this and it still happens, so let's just not.  04. do not steal from me.   that includes any visuals / edits including gifs or icons used in threads, any writing, meta, headcanons, tags, plot ideas, anything at all that's even adjacent to the content that i post and my own personal interpretation / portrayal. i always find out and it's exhausting and frustrating to deal with. this is mainly why i give duplicates a wide berth, multis included, because i've been mercilessly plagiarized in the past. respectfully, for my own sanity, please don't follow me if you're writing him either solo or on a multi, particularly if you're doing it as a white person. i will typically block duplicates on sight to keep them out of my space and it's never personal, so don't take it that way. i've spent too long developing this muse and i'm incredibly protective of him, and i hate seeing him mishandled as much as i hate being stolen from.

note : sibling and child ocs, either for scott or for other teen wolf characters, are a hard pass for me due to past experiences.  06. xkit rewritten and beta editor, trimmed posts, minimal formatting.   i use a combo of regular and small text, bolds and italics. all base icons are from my own screencaps. i'm cool with iconless threads and open to using gifs if that's my partner's preference. when i do use them, most content that isn't from teen wolf is from josshelps, kbunburyhelps, or gifsrcs. all teen wolf gifs are mine so please don't take any. icon border is mine, recolors / psds are mine. you're never expected to match how i do or don't format. visuals are usually dependent on my partner's preference, like if you use an icon i'll use an icon, if you use a gif i'll use a gif, etc. if small text is an eye strain for you, just let me know and i'll stick to regular text for our threads. excessive spacing between words, custom fonts, and too much colored text is really hard for me to read. i'm also not a fan of heavily embellished purple prose where not a single word is used in real life and the synonyms make no contextual sense outside of trying to sound fancy, i can't do it i'm sorry  07. scott mccall is not white.  he's not italian, brazilian, filipino, or anything else that falls under the 'all brown people look the same' umbrella that tumblr loves basing their alt fcs on. feeling like this has to be clarified in 2026 is crazy but here we are again. scott mccall is of mexican descent and i'm not erasing that under any circumstances, despite who's cast as his parents on the show and the next level ignorance displayed by the show, the fandom, and the rpc. in my canon, scott's mother is mexican latina. ( and for anyone who's curious, i have recasts for both of his parents. )  08. tagging / triggers :   i don't tag a lot unless it's by request except the basics like blood, gore, body horror, and occasional mentions of self harm / suicidal ideation. i also tag mentions of abuse and alcoholism in any content that involves scott's dad. don't ever hesitate to ask if you need something more specific tagged. i don't expect anyone to cater to my personal triggers or hold grudges when they don't, just practice basic tagging etiquette (please try to at least tag alcohol use and mentions of cocaine, i'm 3 years sober and very tired of the way addiction is normalized like it's a fun little character trope) and we're chill.  09. on theo raeken and the aftermath of season five :   please don't follow me if you're a theo apologist or you portray him as having gained any kind of 'true alpha' power after killing scott. i'm not interested in taking part in any redemption arcs or reconciliations after 5.10. write him however you want to, but i personally can't see scott ever being okay with him again and i strongly disagree with how the show downplayed and often outright ignored all of the heinous things he did. scott has every right to be angry, and every right to opt out of forgiveness. in my canon, theo does not return in season 6 or ever again in the series. for all intents and purposes, he died at the end of 5b.  010. i don't do fandom drama or ship wars,   but i fully acknowledge that some of the people involved in the series are nasty and problematic. i don't condone or support any of it, specifically the blatant racism / white favoritism both on screen and off, and if you want my take on anything or anyone in particular, just ask.

- allison argent, verse dependent, died in november of their junior year. i'm heavily critical of this ship because i believe that it was romanticized in an extremely unrealistic way, and i strongly disagree with the fandom's attitude that scott was never allowed to move past it or grow independently as a person beyond a relationship that he had for six months when he was 16 years old. it's a part of my canon, in that it existed when it exists on the show, and while i do often reference the ongoing impact that she / her death have on him and fully acknowledge that they did have genuine feelings for each other at the time, it is not my endgame. i'm not going to change my mind or be bullied into it. i am not interested in discourse. ship literally whatever you want to ship, but if you're looking for a scallison - focused portrayal, this is not the one for you.
- kira yukimura, verse dependent, written as a close friendship until i have the opportunity to build the dynamic with an actual partner who loves scira as much as i do, and also recognizes why they were so important.
- malia tate, but i don't ship scalia romantically or acknowledge them as a romantic pairing. it's a personal preference based on how i feel that ship was mishandled, specifically in its erasure / replacement of kira when scott and kira had never even gone through a breakup. i love platonic scalia. i will never write romantic scalia.

  hobbies :     lacrosse, reading, skateboarding, motorcycles, across all verses. surfing and playing / writing music are verse dependent  ( he plays a little guitar in canon verses, more of it & better at it in a specific au ).( further details about his interest in motorcycles, his primary and preferred mode of transportation, can be found in this post. )  skills :     lacrosse, most of the time. accelerated healing, heightened speed, strength, agility, reflexes, and senses. can generally hold his own in a fight even if he's getting his ass handed to him. he'll keep getting back up until he physically can't or until he's literally dead, and one time he got back up after that. has the ability to siphon others' pain out of them, absorbing it through touch / skin to skin contact ; it doesn't heal them, but it'll provide some temporary relief from injury or illness. his enhanced sense of smell also lets him detect illness or disease in both humans and animals. alpha werewolves also have the ability to access a person's memories / subconscious, by tapping into the base of the skull with their claws — it's a rare and learned skill, and a high risk method he'll only use if he has to because he avoids causing harm wherever possible.  shortcomings :     altruistic to his own detriment. his willingness to trust and forgive has backfired before, and it probably will again, but he can no sooner give up that part of himself — the part that's so intent on seeing the good, on finding something worth saving and on railing against the odds, no matter how high they're stacked against him, because he has the power to help and he cares enough about people to try — than he can give up being a werewolf, so he bears it. even on the bad days, the hopeless days, the i can't do this anymore days, he bears it. scott's empathy, on more than one occasion, has progressed to a psychosomatic / somatoformic response, where his body can't physically heal as a direct result of his mental and emotional state. this is something that happens subconsciously, and he doesn't know he's doing it. tldr, his empathy and feelings of guilt are so high that sometimes they cancel out his supernatural healing.  weaknesses :     vulnerable to wolfsbane ( poisoning, highly dangerous and often lethal if it's not burned or purged from his system but effects vary based on the genus ), mountain ash ( supernaturals can't cross its barrier, and it has sedating properties if a building's lined with it — eichen's closed unit, for example ), and mistletoe, which is toxic. specific sound frequencies also have a sedating or disorienting effect, dulling the senses, almost mimicking too much alcohol. certain voltages of concentrated electricity can prevent werewolves from shifting or healing, so it's been a popular torture method among hunters, but scott's tolerance to electrocution is higher as a true alpha. like all werewolves, he feels the effects of the full moon every month, but has long since learned to control himself by keeping his heartbeat steady and calm ; adrenaline — any kind but particularly borne of duress, like anger — is a big stressor. he's rarely ever lost total control, and he's never killed anyone. also vulnerable to the effects of a lunar eclipse, during which a werewolf loses all of their power.  immediate family :     his mom, the absolute most important person in his life, melissa mccall ( née delgado ), who works as a nurse at beacon memorial hospital. his father is rafael mccall, an abusive alcoholic and adulterer turned sanctimonious fbi agent who left when scott was 7, after an incident where he ' accidentally ' threw his son down a flight of stairs. the floor is dented from where scott's head hit it and he was unconscious for almost half a minute, waking up with no memory of what had happened. rafael hasn't lived with them since, and he and melissa are divorced. note: in my canon, rafael left for the second and final time in episode 3.23, after scott rejected his belated and half - assed apology and said that he'd see him "whenever he decided to show up again." i'm not comfortable with forcing reconciliations with abusers, giving them redemption arcs inconsistent with their established canon, and either brushing aside, excusing, or outright erasing their past behavior. i don't believe that it was fair or authentic that forgiveness was demanded of scott, and pushed on him, without ever addressing or allowing him to process the underlying issues. what we see of rafael on the show after 3.23 is not, nor will it ever be, a part of my scott's canon. he will potentially be written into arcs or plots, but it will be done in a way that i feel is more true to the core dynamic.  true alpha lore :     more on that under the link in my pinned post, but keep in mind that a true alpha werewolf  is not the same  as an alpha werewolf, and it's about more than just the way he got his eye color. i'm always more than happy to yap about this if anyone is curious, because it's constantly in development and scott is constantly learning more about his own abilities as the years progress. by his junior year of high school, scott's name is pretty well known amongst werewolves / hunters / people involved with the supernatural. he's not a celebrity, word just gets around in those circles because of who / what he is, who his pack is, how he operates, and his involvement with significant events and people within the supernatural world.  your muse is never obligated or expected to know who he is, but if you vibe with it, then go crazy with it.

  general notes.     i write in almost any timeline, canon or not, but i've been mostly focused around  season 5, season 6, college years, and overall post - series development.  i use a very basic tagging system to indicate which season, arc, or au something takes place in, and a general catch - all tag for interactions that don't have an established verse or timeline.
